Raptors Receive Trade Offers from 76ers and Heat for Kyle Lowry
The Toronto Raptors lost their ninth in a row on Monday night to the Houston Rockets who snapped a 20-game losing streak against the Raps. Needless to say, Toronto has hit rock-bottom of their season and from all accounts will be making massive changes before the trade deadline on Wednesday. The team has recently heard from the Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat, and both teams have made huge offers for point-guard Kyle Lowry.
"Kyle Lowry's free agency is happening right now. The expectation is that Kyle Lowry is going to have a new contract by the end of this week. It's either going to be to stay in Toronto . . . it's going to be Miami or it's going to be Philadelphia."

The pending free-agent is essentially going through his offseason process at the moment as any trade is likely to be followed by an extension with the team. Lowry is from Philly, but has been linked heavily to Miami all season.
The 76ers are reportedly offering Tyrese Maxey, Matisse Thybulle, and Danny Green, with the latter being a throw-in to make the money work. There will be others involved as Lowry is making $30 million on the cap. Green would then be bought out by the Raps.
As for the Heat their offer is much more enticing as it includes forwards Kelly Olynyk, Duncan Robinson, Precious Achiuwa, and Kendrick Nunn.
The Raptors were once close to trading Lowry to the Knicks and ended up hanging on to him and winning a championship the following season. This time around it appears his time has come.
