Rumor: DeMarcus Cousins to the Boston Celtics
After losing out on Andre Drummond the Boston Celtics have reportedly turned their attention to adding DeMarcus Cousins.
#Celtics expected to consider signing DeMarcus Cousins after missing out on Andre Drummond, source tells @HoopAnalysisNet. Would be solid front-court depth behind Robert Williams.

Cousins was supposed to hit reset on his NBA career in Houston with his old Kentucky Wildcat running-mate John Wall and after 25 games it was over before it even really got started. Even with some big nights, Cousins was quick to take a back seat in Houston as the team turned their attention to playing younger players.
The 30-year-old has averaged 9.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game for the Rockets this season. Cousins would provide the Celtics with some more depth at the five and could be streaky enough to make a serious impact in games from time to time. He's certainly not a #1/2/3 option at this point but the Celtics already have that in place.
Cousins recently released this hype video as an effort to get recruited and by the sounds of it, it worked.
