Rumor: Lonzo Ball to be Traded to the Denver Nuggets
The Lonzo Ball sweepstakes are in full throttle on Monday as the NBA's trade deadline is fast approaching and by the sounds of the rumors spinning the mill, it's the Denver Nuggets who are leading the race.
Talks have included Ball heading to the Nuggets, in exchange for Bol Bol, Facundo Campazzo and Isiah Hartenstein. There would also be a number of draft picks being moved in this deal. One player the Pelicans are trying hard to land is Michael Porter Jr, but word is the Nuggets prefer to keep MPJ and are open to moving Bol instead.
The Nuggets are interested in trading for Lonzo Ball, and have reportedly offered Bol Bol in early trade conversations, via Bleacher Report.

As for Ball, he's 23-years-old and is a pending restricted free-agent next season. This season he's making $11 million on the cap and is averaging 14.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game. Ball is a favorite amongst his teammates so moving him out of town is not going to sit well with the likes of Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson.
