Timberwolves Receive Trade Offer for Ricky Rubio
The NBA's trade deadline is March 25th and it's expected we will see some movement around the association. One name that's used to the noise is Minnesota Timberwolf Ricky Rubio and it sounds like the team has recently received a trade offer.
Minnesota sits dead last in the NBA with a record of 8-30 and are looking to free up some playing time for their younger core so along with Rubio, there's potential for veterans like Ed Davis and Juancho Hernangomez getting moved.
Rubio has gone through an up and down season so far in his 36 games. The 30-year-old is averaging 8.0 points, 6.5 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game so far. He's signed for this season and next where he'll make $17.8 million.

"He's the best leader I've been around my whole life."
Trading Rubio again may or may not be in the cards for the T-Wolves but one thing's for sure, he's having a huge impact on rookie Anthony Edwards. Rubio's quickly become the Ant-Man's mentor and the two have formed a tight bond in their short time together.
The Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets are reportedly showing the most interest in Rubio's services as the T-Wolves will need to make up their minds before March 25th on his future with the team.
