Toronto Raptors Reject Cleveland Cavaliers Trade Offer
The Cleveland Cavaliers have been trying for weeks to trade center Andre Drummond, so far nothing has worked out. The 27-year-old is still in the prime of his career and a number of teams are interested at the right price. One team in particular is the Toronto Raptors and word is they balked at the price tag.
According to reports, the Cavs wanted Norman Powell in return for Drummond and needed a third team to be involved in order for the deal to be approved by the league and the Raptors said 'hard no'. Powell has come into his own for the Raps this season and over his last seven games has been scary good.
Norman Powell is averaging 30.3 PPG on 57 FG%, 49 3P% over the last 7 games.

With Drummond making $28 million this season, it appears he will eventually be bought out by Cleveland and free to sign anywhere he chooses, which sounds like either the Lakers or Nets. But Toronto's going to be right there in the mix as they look to improve at the five.
But one things for sure, they aren't interested getting rid of Norm Powell, and you can't blame them for that.
