Trade Rumor: George Hill to the Los Angeles Clippers

According to multiple reports the Los Angeles Clippers are trying hard to acquire another player or two for their playoff run this season and one name that's come up numerous times is Oklahoma City Thunder, George Hill.

The battle tested Hill has appeared in 14 games this season for the Thunder and is averaging 11.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists, while shooting 50.8% from the field, and 38.6% from three.

His $9.6 million salary appears to be the biggest hurdle at the moment as the Clippers are crunched up against the hard cap. Sending Lou Williams the other way won't be enough to facilitate the deal.

Hill has played on a number of contending teams and can bring it on both sides of the floor. His work ethic and versatility is something the Clippers are courting before next week's trade deadline.
