The Nuggets recently lost superstar guard Jamal Murray to a torn ACL and look to bring in Rivers for some more depth on their bench. Rivers was traded from the Knicks to the Oklahoma City Thunder at the trade deadline, however was quickly released. The 28-year-old is averaging 7.3 points per game, shooting 36.4% from deep in the 21 games he's played in this season.
The Nuggets are currently fourth in the Western Conference with a 35-20 record and it's going to take a huge playoffs from the likes of Aaron Gordon, Nikola Jokic and company. Rivers is hoping he can showcase his skills to land him some more work for next season.
