Denver Nuggets Hammered With Another Major Injury
The Denver Nuggets were just starting to figure out how to win basketball games without star guard Jamal Murray and now more bad news has dropped. The Nuggets have lost guard Will Barton for the foreseeable future after suffering a hamstring injury on Friday against the Golden State Warriors.
Nuggets head coach Michael Malone confirmed that Barton would be out for a lengthy period of time as Denver now gets even thinner at the guard position. Here's where the injury occurred as Barton was seen in obvious discomfort and made his way to the locker room after under his own power:

The 30-year-old is having one of this best seasons, averaging 12.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists while shooting 38.1% from deep in the 56 games he's appeared in.
The Nuggets are now without Barton, Murray and guard Monte Morris. While Nikola Jokic can carry a heavy load, it's going to be awfully challenging for the Nuggets to move on in the playoffs without production from their guards.
Lil setback. Be back soon. Ain’t seen the last of me this season. GOD always looking out 🙏🏾
