Golden State Warriors First Team to Launch NFT Collection
The Golden State Warriors are a forward thinking bunch as they are the first team in the NBA to launch their own NFT collection. The Non-Fungible Token craze has taken over the digital world and the NBA's most popular team is trying to cash in.
The team announced their decision on Monday and are actually the first team in all of professional sports to make the jump. A portion of the proceeds from the officially licensed digital collection of memorabilia will benefit the Warriors Community Foundation.
As per reports:
Golden State's collection features limited-edition NFT versions of the Warriors' six NBA championship rings - a select number of which will come with a physical ring - and commemorative ticket stubs from some of the team's most memorable games. The Warriors are also selling a one-of-one ticket stub NFT that includes the opportunity to participate in a Warrior-for-a-Day experience and a custom championship ring presentation during one of their future games.
The main auction run until these weekend. If you've joined the craze, here's your chance to own some Warriors digital masterpieces.
