Lakers Provide Update on LeBron James & Anthony Davis
The Los Angeles Lakers blew out the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night and did so with their bench mob and some recent free-agent signings. The likes of Anthony Davis and LeBron James continue to be sidelined, however the team provided an update on their return.
You can expect to see Davis return to the lineup in the next 7-10 days, meanwhile James will be out another 3 weeks. The team is playing it safe with their superstars and rightfully so. The Lakers are locked into a playoff spot and with the quick turnaround from the Championship run, it was a given both players would be on the sidelines for extended periods of time this season. Sure, the team didn't want them to get hurt initially, but now they are using it as a chance to save their legs for the playoffs.
These past three weeks since James has also gone down, the Lakers have recorded a 5-6 record. Here's what you missed from Saturday's blow out of the Nets without the mentioned Davis and James, Jared Dudley, Kyle Kuzma, Marc Gasol, and Wesley Matthews.
