Prayers up for Aldridge. 🙏🙏
Aldridge just joined the Nets after being bought-out by the San Antonio Spurs and the former all-star was fitting in nicely for Brooklyn who are expected to go deep into the playoffs. They will be doing so without Aldridge who's health risks involved obviously outweigh the risk of continuing his basketball career.
Aldridge has played through an irregular heart beat in the past and it appears it's unfortunately caught up to him. Aldridge retires after playing 1029 career games, averaging 19.4 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.
Aldridge was traded for Tyrus Thomas on draft night and then averaged 19 and 8 through 15 NBA seasons, making 7 All-Star teams. Automatic producer without a controversial headline for over a decade.
