Michael Jordan Will Present Kobe Bryant's Hall of Fame Induction

May 15th, mark your calendars as the latest class of Basketball Hall of Famers will be enshrined and it's been announced Michael Jordan has been selected to present Kobe Bryant's induction.

The class of 2020 will be inducted by one or more Hall of Famer. They certainly picked one of the best options available as the bond between Jordan and Bryant was like no other. Bryant was once asked who he'd want to be his presenter for the Hall of Fame ceremony, and MJ made the short-list:

In terms of who might present, for me it’s two people: Michael Jordan or Phil Jackson. They’ve been the greatest mentors, not only in my career as an athlete, but also as a person. And what I might say is just a lot of thank yous. ‘Cause I’ve had a lotta help along the way. A lotta, lotta help.

Jordan and Bryant's love for each other was not only over basketball, it was over life, health, happiness and motivation. MJ spoke at Bryant's memorial and really opened up about their relationship:

Maybe it surprised people that Kobe and I were very close friends, but we were very close friends. Kobe was my dear friend. He was like a little brother. Everyone always wanted to talk about the comparisons between he and I. I just wanted to talk about Kobe.

May 15th, grab a Kleenex box and get ready to hear greatness talk about greatness.

Here's a freaky video of the similarities between Kobe and MJ on the basketball court:
