Milwaukee Bucks Sign Jrue Holiday to Massive Contract Extension
The Milwaukee Bucks paid a steep price to acquire Jrue Holiday and now they are dropping off a brinks truck to his front door as the team has signed the point-guard to a massive four-year contract extension worth $160 million
The details of the deal states the contract is worth $135 million, however with bonuses it could rise up to $160 million. The deal also contains a player option for the 2024-25 season, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Holiday is one of the best defensive point-guards in the league and has been named to the All-Defensive team on two occasions. So far this season he's been great for the Bucks, averaging 17.0 points, 5.4 assists and 4.6 rebounds to go along with a career-high 1.8 steals in 38 games.
The Bucks have their three best players locked up now until basically 2024, which should make them a threat in the east for years to come.
