Video: Toronto Raptors Set Franchise Record In Blow Out Win vs Warriors
The Toronto Raptors weren't messing around on Friday night as the team turned the clock on March and decided April was going to be their month. The team blew out the Golden State Warriors 130-77, setting a franchise record with a 53-point win.
It was Pascal Siakam's birthday and the birthday boy decided it was his party and he was getting buckets if he wanted to. The 27-year-old finished with 36 points, while newcomer Gary Trent Jr had his best game as a Raptor, scoring 24 points. Trent was a plus-54 on the night which is second all-time in that statistic.
This was the third largest loss the Warriors have ever felt in all of their franchise history. The team now moves to 23-26 on the season, meanwhile the Raptors are 19-30 on the season and are grinding their way to a playoff position in the east.
Maybe it was the retro purple jerseys?
