Washington Wizards Make Surprising Roster Move
The Washington Wizards have waived former lottery pick Jerome Robinson, sources tell Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. The guard hasn't been able to find his game in the NBA and has continued to struggle this season with the Wiz.
So far in the three seasons Robinson has split between the Wizards and the Los Angeles Clippers who originally drafted him out of Boston College with the 13th pick in 2018, the shooting-guard has managed to average 4.5 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists. Robinson hasn't ever been given consistent minutes and has averaged roughly 14 minutes per game in his career.
The Wizards are moving on from Robinson and have signed big man Jordan Bell to a second 10-day contract. Bell's chipped in with 3.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 16 minutes per his three appearances.
