Brutal News for Warriors' Kelly Oubre Jr
The Golden State Warriors have announced that forward Kelly Oubre Jr is dealing with a few injuries. Reports have surfaced he's been playing with a torn wrist ligament and a palm fracture.
Oubre Jr will undergo further evaluation to determine if he's going to make it worse by playing through it. He's missed the last two games while the medical professionals review the images.
The 25-year-old is in his first season with the Warriors and it's been an up and down year. He's dealt with the pain the entire year and has missed multiple games throughout the season. He's averaging 15.4 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game in the 55 games he's managed to dress in.
The Warriors are trying to sneak into the playoff picture as they are chasing down a play-in berth. Considering the injury troubles of the team, it's quite impressive. Let's hope Oubre Jr can get the treatment he needs and get back on the court soon to help his Dubs' teammates.
