Horrible Injury News for the Milwaukee Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks have announced that guard Donte DiVincenzo will miss the rest of the postseason after suffering a torn ligament in his left ankle.
Non-contact injuries are always the worst and unfortunately that's the case here. The incident occurred during Game 3 against the Miami Heat on Thursday, as the third-year guard was driving along the baseline and pulled up lame. He quickly hobbled over to the Bucks bench and the rest is history.
The Bucks have the Heat exactly where they want them, up 3-0, but this is not the type of news they wanted to hear as the continue their playoff push. DiVincenzo has turned into a valuable piece for the Bucks, averaging 10.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists. This was his first full year as a starter in Milwaukee. The 24-year-old is expected to be fully healthy come training camp next season.
