Knicks' Immanuel Quickley Says a Beer Was Thrown at Him in Game 2: 'I guess that's part of having fans in the game'

New York Knicks rookie Immanuel Quickley is now the latest victim of egregious fan behavior. According to Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News, Quickley had a beer thrown at him during Game 2 of the series.

Unbeknownst to the rookie, he thought it was part of the fan experience — this was merely Quickley's second game in front of a near-full capacity NBA crowd. Although there is no video proof at this time, the 21-year-old assures Bondy that the incident did indeed occur.

This is now the second occurrence involving impudent fans at Madison Square Garden. The first incident also took place during Game 2 of this series, as Hawks star Trae Young was spat at whilst inbounding the ball.

Here's hoping fans in New York are respectful in their heckling during game 5 on Wednesday.
