Rumor: Kevin Love to the Portland Trail Blazers
Things aren't going very well lately for Cleveland Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love and from all accounts he's informed management he prefers to play next season for the Portland Trail Blazers.
Love has held numerous discussions lately opening up about his lifelong dream to play for his hometown team and word is the Blazers do have a certain level of interest in adding Love for next season. The team is expected to lose Enes Kanter to a massive free-agent contract and will certainly try to re-sign Norman Powell. Once their order of business is completed on some of their own players, the Blazers could then pursue adding Love.

The only issue here is going to be money, as the 32-year-old makes big dollars. Love has two more seasons left on his contract, paying him roughly $30 million per season. For someone who has not stayed healthy and his work ethic and dedication to his team have come into question a ton lately, there's certainly a level of risk involved here. The dream scenario would be for the Cavs to buy-out Love or release him, but that's going to take a small miracle.
Kevin Love to Portland? Keep an eye on it this summer.
