Update on the Health of Nets' James Harden
Brooklyn Nets fans just want to get everyone healthy and in their lineup to get a glance at the talent, and by the sounds of it that could be coming soon. After sitting out 20 of the last 21 games, Nets star James Harden intends to play against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night.
Besides a quick 4:22 on April 5th, Harden has been sidelined since March 31st due to a hamstring injury that became much more serious then the team wanted. The 32-year-old didn't recover quite as planned and needed more time away from the court. Harden was having an MVP caliber season before he went down, averaging 25.4 points, 11 assists and 8.7 rebounds per game as a Net. While the team went 27-7 with Harden in the lineup, they barely kept their head above water without him, going 11-9.
There's only been seven games this season where Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and Harden dressed together and rookie head coach Steve Nash is hoping that changes for at least a few games before the playoffs.
