Video: Atlanta Hawks Trae Young Disgusted With Spitting Incident

Some NBA fans reminded us this week that there's always a couple of bad apples in the bunch. Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young was subject to some spit from New York Knicks fans as he was trying to inbound the basketball during Game 2 at Madison Square Garden.

Young spoke to the media and admitted he saw the video of the incident:

I saw the video, and it's disgusting. I'm not mad at the fans who chant things, that's for another subject. But for spitting and things like that, that's uncalled for in any arena and any environment.

The Knicks have reportedly found the culprit and banned him indefinitely. There has also been an enhanced code of conduct created for MSG moving forward where the league and Knicks staff will be enforcing stricter guidelines. You can't blame them after this embarrassing incident:
