'Weird' Neck Injury Couldn't Stop Luka Doncic

Friday's Game 3 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers was a pain in the neck for the Dallas Mavericks in more ways than one. Franchise player Luka Doncic could be seen shaking out his arm and neck in apparent pain in the 2nd half of their Game 3 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. He even wore a wrap around the area while on the bench. 

One can't help but wonder if the injury was triggered by this little scuffle involving (who else?) Patrick Beverley in the 1st half:

The injury didn't seem to slow down Doncic, who finished with a career playoff-high 44 points. After the game, he just shrugged it off:

It's just weird. I don't know how you call it. It's just some massage, some rest, and hopefully we're good.                            

 Weird or not, the Mavericks have to hope that Doncic is at full-strength for Game 4 on Sunday.
