76ers' Joel Embiid Out For Game 5 With Small Lateral Meniscus Tear
76ers All-Star big man Joel Embiid will miss Game 5 against the Wizards due to a small lateral meniscus tear in his right knee, per the Philadelphia 76ers' social media.
Embiid is currently listed as day-to-day and is being managed with physical therapy and treatment programs.

Embiid exited midway through the first quarter in Game 4 with what appeared to be right knee soreness. Initially, the MVP candidate was thought to have injured his back after suffering a hard fall, but upon a transient return to the game, it was evident his knee was ailing.

The 76ers will sorely miss Embiid in Game 5, as he was averaging 24 points on an astounding 64% from the field.
