Duke Coach Mike Krzyzewski To Retire After Upcoming Season
Legendary Duke men's basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski will call it a career following the 2021-2022 season, according to Stadium's Jeff Goodman. An official announcement is forthcoming.
This will be the Hall of Famer's 41st season at the helm. His resume with the Blue Devils includes a record of 1,097-302, 15 ACC Tournament championships, 12 Final Four appearances and five national championships.
Jon Scheyer, former Duke player and current assistant Krzyzewski, is the leading candidate for the job.

The leading candidate to replace K is assistant and former Duke player Jon Scheyer.
Not only is Krzyzewski the winningest coach in NCAA men's basketball history, but he has five Olympic gold medals with the USA basketball teams.
