Jokic Super Max To Be Largest Contract in NBA History — $240 Million! 💰💰
Winning the league's MVP yesterday means Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic will be eligible for the super max, and what will be the largest contract in NBA history — over $240 Million.
The Nikola Jokic super max extension in 2022 is projected to be the largest contract in NBA history.

*2023-24: $42.6M
2024-25: $44.9M
2025-26: $48.2M
2026-27: $51.5M
2027-28: $54.8M
Total of $241M
*Based on a salary cap of $121.5M
It would top out at nearly $55 Million in the final year of the deal, in 2027-28. He can't actually sign this until the 2022 offseason, as he is still one year short of the 7-years service criteria super max requirement.
In the meantime, he'll just have to make do on the $31.6M he'll make next season, and $33.6M in the final year of his current deal.
Yup, The Joker will be laughing all the way to the bank.
There's a reason they call him The Joker... and now he's the NBA #KiaMVP! 🃏🤣
