Kemba Walker Traded to OKC!
The long-rumored trade of Kemba Walker has finally dropped. The Boston Celtics are sending Walker and the No. 16 pick in this year's draft to the Oklahoma City Thunder, in return for Al Horford, Moses Brown and a future draft pick.
The Celtics are trading Kemba Walker, the No. 16 overall pick in the 2021 draft and a 2025 second-round draft pick to Oklahoma City for Al Horford, Moses Brown and a 2023 second-round pick, sources tell ESPN.

This will be Horford's second stint in Boston, while the Celtics move off the $73M Walker is still owed on his contract.
This isn't the first notable point guard the Thunder have acquired in recent years, as they had a successful season with Chris Paul at the controls in 2019-20.
It's Brad Stevens' first move as the new head of the Celtics' basketball operations, after taking over the reins just two weeks ago.
It's a big move for Kemba, but knowing the kind of person he is, he should adjust to it just fine.
