Front Office Power Struggle: Mavericks & GM Donnie Nelson Have Agreed To a Split
The carnage in front offices continues in the NBA, as the Dallas Mavericks and long-time General Manager Donnie Nelson have decided to "part ways".

Interestingly, this comes just two days after the explosive report of Luka Doncic being at odds with the Mavs' "shadow GM" Haralabos Voulgaris. Reports are that Nelson had lost power since Voulgaris began to take on a bigger role with the team.
Now, according to sources, Luka is NOT HAPPY!

Nelson had lost power since the hiring of Bob Voulgaris, creating internal tension.
Nelson drafted Doncic, and they have been very close. This all, of course, could impact Doncic's feelings about his long-term future in Dallas.
