Nikola Jokic Records Historic Triple-Double In Loss To Suns
Despite a Game 3 loss to the Suns, Nikola Jokic proved once again why he is this year's MVP. He posted 32 points, 20 rebounds and 10 assists, joining Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the only players in NBA history to record a 30/20/10 stat line in the playoffs.

The Joker's herculean effort wasn't enough to counter Phoenix's potent offence, who as a team shot an astounding 53.1% from the floor, 46.2% from beyond the arc, and 90.0% from the charity stripe. The Suns' defence was stifling as well, limiting the Nuggets to an arduous 102 points. After the game, Jokic lauded Deandra Ayton for his defensive presence.
Nikola Jokic postgame: "I think that Ayton did a really good job of being there, but still, I think I missed a couple easy ones."

"I tried my best I didn't want to lose. I was trying to give everything I got."
The Nuggets will need Jokic to have another out-of-body experience in Game 4, as they will try to stave off elimination and prolong the series.
