Philadelphia 76ers Fined For Tampering After Steph Curry Tweet
The NBA has fined the Philadelphia 76ers and their president Daryl Morey each $75,000 for tampering in relation to a social media post featuring Steph Curry.
The fine stems from a Tweet that was sent from Morey's account that featured a screenshot of the Golden State Warriors star toasting his younger brother, and 76ers guard Seth Curry. Apparently this is one expensive caption...

Morey's explanation in the comments section wasn't enough for the NBA to avoid the fine. This isn't the first time that executive has had to dust off his wallet. Morey was fined back in December $50,000 for violating the league's anti-tampering rules for a social media post celebrating an achievement by then-Rockets star James Harden. Sounds like he might want to put down the phone...
