Rumor: Brooklyn Nets Kyrie Irving Could Be Out for the Playoffs
According to multiple reports the Brooklyn Nets are preparing themselves to take on the Milwaukee Bucks without point guard Kyrie Irving who recently went down with an ankle injury. There's also an outside chance Irving doesn't return at all these playoffs.
The injury occurred during Game 4 on Sunday as Irving rolled his ankle after landing on the foot of Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo. He's been using crutches ever since and has been seen in a walking boot. Irving has a long history of ankle problems and the Nets are worried this could be it for his postseason.

When asked about Irving's return, head coach Steve Nash said he had 'no idea' on his status which is not music to the ears of Nets fans. So far these playoffs, the all-star point guard is averaging 23.0 ppg, 5.0rpg, 5.0apg, and 1.7 steals. Needless to say Brooklyn could use Irving in the lineup, even with Kevin Durant showing us all he has super powers.
