Mike D'Antoni Inteviewing for Trail Blazers' Head Coaching Job; Also Rumored to Have Interest in Milwaukee
The Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets are smack in the middle of what's now a tight 2-2 series, but rumors are already putting Nets' assistant Mike D'Antoni as a potential fit for the Bucks' job, IF Mike Budenholzer gets the axe after this season.

Now comes word that D'Antoni is interviewing today for a job that actually is currently open, the Portland Trail Blazers' head job:
Brooklyn Nets assistant Mike D’Antoni is interviewing for the Portland Trail Blazers coaching job today, sources tell ESPN. Two more assistant coaches — the Clippers’ Chauncey Billups and the Spurs’ Becky Hammon — are set to interview with Portland early this week, too.

It's no secret that the Bucks would likely have to make a deep—make that, very deep— playoff run this season for Coach Bud to retain his job. And the man sitting just down the sidelines in this series, D'Antoni, is a man with many successful head coaching seasons under his belt in this league, and according to some reports, is already being linked to fill any potential coaching vacancy in Milwaukee, if his pursuit in Portland doesn't work out.
It would be kinda fun to see The Greek Freak really let loose to run wild in a Mike D'Antoni speed-'em-up offence, wouldn't it?
