Serge Ibaka Undergoes Season-Ending Back Surgery
The Los Angeles Clippers are down 2-0 in their second-round series with the Utah Jazz, and it's now confirmed they'll have to make do without big man Serge Ibaka for the remainder of the playoffs.
Season-ending back surgery was performed yesterday. He's expected to make a full recovery, but his season is done.Clippers say Serge Ibaka had season-ending back surgery yesterday.

Ibaka was able to play in only the first two games of these playoffs, and also missed two months during the season with his ailing back.
He has a $9.7 Million player option for next season. One of the factors going into his decision on whether to pick up his option will undoubtedly be the status of Kawhi Leonard, who has said he will opt-out of his contract after this season and become an unrestricted free agent once again.
No matter what Serge does, you can be sure he'll do it "avec classe".
