Details Revealed on Mike Conley's Future in Utah
The Utah Jazz want one thing next season and that's to have point guard Mike Conley starting during the opening tip of next season.
According to The Athletic's Tony Jones the team will do whatever they can to get a contract completed with the All-Star floor general. The 33-year-old Conley is coming off a great season, averaging 16.4ppg, 6.0ast, and 3.5 rpg. Conley's one of the biggest names available this season as the free agent class is loaded with talent.
Last season the point guard made $34.5 million and earned his first All-Star berth after Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns was unable to attend due to injury. Teams are able to meet with free agents come August 2 at 6pm ET. Look for Conley to return to Utah as it's expected to two sides work out a deal.
