Kawhi Leonard Has Surgery on Knee
Just like everything else he does on and off the court, Kawhi Leonard goes about his business quietly and under the radar. Even when he undergoes surgery. The Los Angeles Clippers have announced that Leonard has had successful surgery for a partially torn ACL.

Leonard suffered the knee injury during the Clippers' second-round series against the Utah Jazz. The Clips went on to win the series without him.
Kawhi has had knee troubles for a number of years, and there was some word coming out of L.A. last month that Leonard was not so happy with the Clippers' medical team.

The Toronto Raptors took special care during the 2018-19 season to give his knee full attention from the medical staff, including establishing the "load management" regimen of many regular-season games off. It paid off with an epic playoff run by Leonard and a championship.
There is currently no timetable for his return to action, though Kawhi is opting out of his contract this offseason and will become a free agent once again. It's possible that if he truly considers that the Clippers' medical staff mishandled his health, that it could play a factor in his thoughts about re-signing there.
