Klay Thompson Plans To Fall Off The Face Of The Earth
We all remember Klay Thompson's "Boat Klay" Instagram live session last month that ended up in a fun feud with Drake. Now we're getting word that those scenes of Klay cruising the open seas may be foreshadowing his future.

Thompson's father, the former Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles Lakers star, Mychal Thompson, told a San Francisco radio show that his son is "really into the ocean, really into his boat. I could see him getting on a boat and just sailing the world".
Once his career is done, his dad fully expects Klay to 'captain' himself right out of the public eye — for good. "I'd be shocked if he sticks around the NBA scene," he said. His dad foresees Klay as "an old sea captain in the Bahamas."
Thompson recently took his rookie teammate James Wiseman out on the waves to show him the ropes.

In the meantime, Mychal Thompson says he gets his regular updates on his son's rehab from Instagram, just like the rest of us. Klay has missed the last two full NBA seasons, rehabbing from a torn ACL and then an Achilles injury.
He is fully hoping to rejoin Splash Brother Steph Curry and return the Golden State Warriors to prominence in 2021-22.
