Report: Pistons Still Not Committed To Cade Cunningham at No. 1
NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski has reported that the Detroit Pistons, holding the No. 1 pick in Thursday's NBA Draft, have still not committed to consensus choice Cade Cunningham with that pick.
Detroit’s internal meetings are still revolving around three players for the No. 1 pick on Thursday night — Cade Cunningham, Jalen Green and Evan Mobley, sources tell ESPN. Detroit isn’t fully there yet on committing to Cunningham with their first overall choice.

Woj says that the Pistons are still deciding amongst Cunningham, Jalen Green and Evan Mobley, according to ESPN sources, and that Detroit "isn't fully there yet on committing to Cunningham."
Word has been circulating for some time that the Pistons have been doing their due diligence on all of the top picks, and that several teams are making offers to move up to No. 1.
While Cunningham is the consensus top player in the draft, the skills of 7-footer Evan Mobley of USC are undeniably unique and revered by NBA teams. And Jalen Green's offensive explosiveness displayed in the G League this past season have many top scouts salivating as well.
Many observers are still calling any reports of the Pistons considering anybody other than Cunningham at No. 1 a smokescreen, and that he will undoubtedly be off the board when the Houston Rockets make their pick at No. 2.
Detroit is either expertly swindling everyone or tripping over their own laces and I can’t figure out which one.

Cade Cunningham will be the 1st overall pick. https://t.co/2qj750ZLqo
Hey, but where there's "smoke", there could be fire.
