Rumor: Lonzo Ball Back To The Lakers
It was just two years ago that the Lonzo Ball era in Los Angeles came to an end, with the trade of Ball, Brandon Ingram and Josh Hart to the New Orleans Pelicans in return for Anthony Davis. Now, sources say the Lakers are looking for a way to bring Ball back.
The Lakers are hoping to acquire one more difference-making playmaker that would allow James and Davis to spend more time at power forward and center.

NBA insider Marc Stein says the Lakers will be "searching for potential pathways, however obstacle-strewn they would be" to bring Ball back to the Staples Center.
L.A. is desperate for a "difference-making" playmaker that would allow LeBron James to play off the ball more, relieving some of the physical demands on his 36-year-old body, but also allowing him to play more at power forward, next to Davis.
Ball is a restricted free agent, and there are some questions as to how strong the Pelicans' desire is to bring him back, or to let him...bounce.
If the Lakers aren't able to swing a suitable sign & trade for Kyle Lowry, then Lonzo would be their next S&T target.
