Warriors Stars Gunning For Bradley Beal
Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green are pushing Golden State Warriors management for an upgrade this season to challenge for another championship. And Bradley Beal of the Washington Wizards is the target.

The team's top option? Bradley Beal, should he want out of Washington, per @ThompsonScribe.

Sources have told The Athletic's Marcus Thompson II that the team's Big 3 are even advocating for the Warriors to trade their two lottery picks, Nos. 7 & 14, to bring in a veteran ready to help them win.
The status of Bradley Beal in Washington has been a hot topic for some time now, and many are wondering if/when he will ask for a trade. If that happens, Steph, Klay and Dray want to be ready to pounce.
The scoring triumvirate of the Splash Brothers + Beal would have no equal in the Western Conference. Plus, as Thompson II points out, adding another offensive creator would take some of the pressure off Curry.
I have no idea who gets Bradley Beal, if and when the Wizards go into rebuild mode, but if the Warriors manage to latch onto him, they would have three of the purest shooters all on one team. All three can create and score in bunches.

Both Green and Warriors coach Steve Kerr spent a couple of weeks with Beal at Team USA training camp in Las Vegas (before Beal was sent home due to Covid protocols); could there perhaps have been a little wink-wink back-room recruiting going on?
The Wizards have control over Beal for this coming season only, then Beal has a player option after that. To this point though, Beal has given no indication he wants to be traded, or that he wants to finish his career anywhere else but Washington.
But as we know, things can change in the NBA in matters like this, pretty quick.
Damian Lillard could be perceived as more "gettable" at this point, as he ponders his future in Portland, but "multiple sources" say the Warriors don't believe Lillard would be interested in coming to the Warriors.
This is all yet another interesting thread to take note of during what should be a fascinating offseason.
