Report: Kemba Walker Heading Home
All signs point to Kemba Walker playing home games at Madison Square Garden this upcoming season. After being traded from the Boston Celtics to the Oklahoma City Thunder last month, it sounds as if a buyout could take place, allowing Walker to sign with the New York Knicks.

Walker was traded from the Boston to OKC last month along with a 2021 first-round draft pick and a 2025 second-rounder for Al Horford, Moses Brown and a 2023 second-round pick.
Walker is set to make nearly $73M over the next two seasons, and with OKC in a rebuild it certainly doesn't make much sense to keep him on the roster. Walker battled through knee injuries last season to play in 43 games and put up solid numbers - 19.3 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 4.9 apg, 1.1 spg while shooting 36.0 3P% (right in-line with his career average). Hopefully a return to the hallowed grounds of MSG can see a return to prominence for Walker, as he had made four straight All-Star Games prior to last year.
