Sources: Los Angeles Lakers to Sign Isaiah Thomas

There's a potential reunion brewing for the Los Angeles Lakers as the team is reportedly close to signing 32-year-old free-agent Isaiah Thomas to a contract for next season.

The Lakers have been under some scrutiny as the team has seemingly gotten older this offseason and LeBron James is loving the doubters. Adding Thomas would certainly send the basketball world into a frenzy.

IT has been busy putting up almost 100 points in summer games and has turned some heads with his dedication to his craft and motivation to get back into the league. The Lakers are familiar with Thomas who made 17 appearances for the team back in 2017-18.

Last season Thomas managed to play in three games for the New Orleans Pelicans, shooting 33.3% and averaging 7.7 points. The 5-foot-9 dynamic guard has shown recently he's still very capable of being a walking bucket, let's just see if next season he's knocking down these types of shots in purple and gold.
