Trade: Milwaukee Bucks & Memphis Grizzlies Swing a Deal
The NBA Champions continue to upgrade their roster as the Milwaukee Bucks have pulled off a deal with the Memphis Grizzlies that sees Grayson Allen head to the Bucks in exchange for Sam Merrill and two future second-round picks.
The Bucks love Allen's toughness and tenacity and lost a bit of that with PJ Tucker leaving for the Heat. Allen is a Duke product who averaged career highs last season with 10.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.2 dimes in 50 games he appeared in.
The Bucks used their $4.9-million trade exception to complete the transaction and the team will give Allen a look before he makes his way to being eligible for a rookie extension.
Great pickup for the Bucks as they have a wildcard to work with who they can slowly work into their offense. The journey to run it back begins.
