Video: Toronto Raptors Goran Dragic Demands a Trade
The Toronto Raptors moved franchise star Kyle Lowry to the Miami Heat in a sign-and-trade deal that landed them a couple of pieces including veteran Goran Dragic. Turns out they have some more wheeling and dealing to do because Dragic wants no part of Toronto.
The veteran combo guard was taken back by the trade and made it known he wasn't happy. Turns out now he's gone public with his trade demands and a video has surfaced regarding his future with the Raptors.
Goran Dragic: “Toronto is not my preffered destination. I have higher ambitions. We'll see.”

Dragic is 35 and wants to play for a contender as he's getting closer to the end of his career. The winter weather from Miami to Ontario, Canada could also be playing a factor here as Dragic would likely get big time minutes in Toronto and could use this contract year to make him so more money next summer.
Dragic is due $19.4 million next season, his last year on his deal. Expect the Raptors to move on from the Slovenian before training camp begins.
