Brooklyn Nets & Detroit Pistons Complete a Trade
The Brooklyn Nets have found a way to save themselves $47 million as they team has dealt center DeAndre Jordan, some cash and draft picks to the Detroit Pistons.

Nets send Pistons their own 2022 and 2027 second-round picks, a 2024 second-rounder via Wizards and a 2025 second via Warriors, sources tell ESPN.

Jordan will receive a ton of interest from contenders from both the western and eastern conference. While he's certainly not the high-flyer he once was, Jordan can still be a productive piece if playing the proper minutes. Last season the 33-year-old averaged 7.5 ppg and 7.5 rpg, while starting 43 of 57 games.
Look for the Nets to now add another veteran who can have some more impact and it's likely LaMarcus Aldridge. Saving almost $50 million certainly makes ownership happy to make other moves.
