Klay Thompson on IG Live: "Yeah, I'm balling out this season!"
After missing the last two full seasons due to leg injuries, Golden State Warriors sharpshooter Klay Thompson wants the world to know he is BACK, and he took to Instagram Live to declare it:

"Yeah, I'm balling out this season," said Klay, in his now-familiar spot at the helm of his boat. "Injuries are no fun, but they’re a part of sports...All you can do is keep moving forward...And I’m going to bounce back. That’s a fact. I guarantee that.”
Addressing fans' questions about his recovery from first a torn ACL and then a ruptured Achilles tendon, the 'other' Splash Brother said, "Leg's feeling good, man. Knee's feeling great as well. But it's gonna be a while before I'm in game shape again... That's gonna take a lot of hard work. And now I'm ready!"
Thompson first injured his knee in the 2019 NBA Finals, and before he could recover from the torn ACL, the stress on his Achilles was too much, and that went as well.
The latest reports have the Warriors planning for Thompson to return in time for their Christmas Day matchup with the Phoenix Suns. "He could come back a little bit before that," said ESPN's Ramona Shelburne, "but in terms of getting his conditioning right, they're targeting that Christmas Day game against the Suns. I know that sounds a little late to people, but he was injured on Nov. 18, so this is 13 months from an Achilles injury."
Klay has spent the last two full seasons rehabbing from the two devastating injuries. But he's still found plenty of time to take up his other passion of riding the waves in his boat around The Bay Area, and as he often does on IG Live, taking his fans along for the ride.
