Chicago Bulls Forward Out 4-6 Months
The Chicago Bulls announced today that Patrick Williams will be out for the next four-to-six months. The 20-year-old forward needs surgery for torn ligaments in his left wrist. If he recovers in four months, he would be able to return for the regular season. However, there is a real chance that he could miss the rest of it.
This is just heartbreaking news for the kid. Williams was expected to have a big role with the team this season, but now that has been halted due to his injury. The 2020 fourth overall pick was also looking to have his true breakout campaign. Thus, this is a major setback.Injury Update: Patrick Williams will undergo surgery to repair torn ligaments in his left wrist from an injury sustained in last night’s game vs. the New York Knicks. He is expected to miss approximately 4-6 months.

Now, there's a good chance that Williams' season will end with him playing just five games. In them, he averaged 6.6 PPG, 2.2 rebounds and 0.6 assists.
Here's to hoping Williams gets well soon.
