Report: Zaire Wade Joining Utah Jazz Affiliate
It looks like Zaire Wade is ready for the jump. According to reports, Wade will be joining the Salt Lake City Stars of the G League, the affiliate team to the Utah Jazz.
The funny part about this all is the fact Zaire's father, Dwyane bought a stake in the Utah Jazz organization earlier this year. Makes you wonder if this was all planned from the get go.
The younger Wade is 19, a guard who played high school at the polarizing Sierra Canyon, where other big names including Bronny James attend. From there Wade went to a postgraduate prep school and now heads to the G League.
While he's certainly a decent prospect, Wade was only considered a three-star recruit. Offers came from DePaul, Nebraska, Rhode Island and Toledo. Turns out the G League have won the sweepstakes and let's see if Wade can follow in his father's footsteps and make it to the league.
