Celtics' Marcus Smart Pissed Off at Teammates Over Ball Distribution
The Boston Celtics have some trouble in paradise after they were defeated by the Chicago Bulls on Monday night 128-114. Turns out Marcus Smart is sick and tired of playing alongside a couple of ball hogs.
Smart wasn't shy with his comments after the team's latest loss as the trend continues for the Celts. Smart called out both Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown for their lack of passing and had this to say about trusting their teammates:
I think everybody's scouting report is to make those guys try to pass the ball. They don't want to pass the ball, and that's something that they're going to learn. They're still learning, and we're proud of the progress they are making, but they are going to have to make another step and find ways to not only create for themselves but create for others on this team ... It's something that we've been asking for them to do and they're learning. We just got to continue to help those guys do that and to help our team.
“They don’t want to pass the ball and that’s something that they’re going to learn, they’re still learning.”

Sounds like there's several lessons to still be learned in Boston and learning how to put clubs away and sharing the ball seems to be front and center. Here's everything you missed from the Bulls victory on Monday:
