"I Don't Need No F---ing Coach To Inspire Me!" Tristan Thompson Rips Teammates After Loss

Safe to say that Tristan Thompson was not happy with the Sacramento Kings' 5th loss in their last six games, this one to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

"No man in this world should rely on another man to inspire them," said Thompson. "I don't need no f---ing coach to inspire me. Never have, never will. The day I need a coach to inspire me is the day I'm f---ing retiring."

"'Losing players' need to get inspiration from their coach. And I'm not with that sh*t," continued the Kings' veteran power forward. "This is not no freaking ‘Glory Road’ sh*t. You better be ready to play."

As for their chances of making the playoffs, Thompson said "if we're trying to get somewhere where this team hasn't been in over a decade—damn near two decades—it's the little things that are gonna put you in position to be there."

Perhaps Thompson was still re-living this play, where he was abandoned by his help defense, and got massively posterized by Karl Anthony Towns.

"You gotta have each other's backs," said Thompson after the game. "You gotta be on a string and have a brotherhood. If I get beat, I want my teammate to be there....  and I'll be there for him."

It was an epic rant by Thompson, who was also frustrated that the team has gone 1-3 on a road trip against teams he feels "were probably pissed to win those games". The entirety of his rant can be seen here:
