Jokic Brothers Threaten Morris Brothers In Family Feud: NBA Edition
The ugly incident in Monday night's Denver Nuggets/Miami Heat clash has now spilled over to the combatants' families. After Markieff Morris laid a vicious body-check into Nikola Jokic, and Jokic responded by levelling Morris to the ground with a slam of his own, Morris' twin brother Marcus (also know for his.. um.. aggressive play), tweeted out a threat to The Joker:
Waited till bro turned his back smh. NOTED ✍🏾
— Marcus Morris (@MookMorris2) November 9, 2021
"Waited till bro turned his back smh. NOTED" wrote Marcus Morris.
That tweet alone prompted the Jokic Brothers to open up their own Twitter account—yes, this morning—solely to respond to Marcus:
Just got a text from Jokic’s brother. This is their real account responding to Marcus Morris’s tweet last night. https://t.co/ON4AH3JxwN

"You should leave this the way it is instead of publicly threatening our brother!," wrote the Jokic bros. "Your brother made a dirty play first . If you want to make a step further be sure we will be waiting for you !! Jokic Brothers."
Wow.
And in case you're wondering, "just who are the Jokic Brothers?", check it out here:
Safe to say, if Marcus Morris wants to bring it, these dudes are up for it.

Strahinja Jokic, Nikola's oldest brother, was his parents' first child. As they looked down at their newborn baby, this is what Strahinja's parents decided to name him pic.twitter.com/ZEGQgjVNWJ

Even The Joker himself is scared of his older brother:
Nikola Jokic to @markkiszla in 2017: “Why be afraid? I am playing a game of basketball. I am scared of only one person in my life. That’s my brother. Have you seen him?”

"I am scared of only one person in my life. That’s my brother. Have you seen him?” said Nikola back in 2017.
In fact, the Jokic Brothers were there at the arena last night, ready for Jimmy Butler, or any Morris brother.

The original incident occurred with the Nuggets up by 17 with only two+ minutes left in the game. Watch it all here.
And who says the NBA isn't a soap opera? Or maybe more accurately, the WWE?
