Turmoil in Portland Continues! Team President Resigns
Following last week's announcement by the Portland Trail Blazers of an internal investigation of GM Neil Olshey, the team's president, Chris McGowan has now resigned, placing the organization in even more turmoil.

McGowan framed his resignation letter by saying it was after careful consideration "this summer", which would place his decision-making before the internal investigation became public, but that leaves many questions.
McGowan has been with the team since 2012.
The team is continuing to investigate Olshey for creating what's been alleged as a "toxic, hostile" work environment.
The Trail Blazers are off to a humdrum start to the season, at 5-7, encapsulated mainly by the struggles of superstar Damian Lillard, whose scoring pace is down nearly 10 points per game, while his 3-point shooting is more than 120 points below his career norm (25.4% this season, career average 37.3%).
Lillard also blasted the referees earlier this week, calling their work "unacceptable" this season.
Could it be only a matter of time before those offseason rumblings of Lillard wanting out of Portland start bubbling to the surface once again?
